Hi, I’m Matt!

I’ve been working at Green Bear for 15 years and have lived in Japan for over 20 years. I’m super excited to welcome you to Green Bear. My goal is to provide a loving, caring, safe and fun environment for children to learn and grow for the future. Giving them the skills they need to be an outstanding member of an international society and to succeed.

I want to teach children that learning is fun, rewarding and ongoing throughout their lives. Accept their failures not as failures but as lessons to get closer to succeeding and reaching their goals.

Teaching them not only the educational side of things, but also the key values of being a good-hearted person and caring for others and the world we live in.

Making the world a better place one paw at a time!!

はじめまして、マットと申します。

グリーンベアに勤務して１５年、日本には２０年以上在住しています。皆様をグリーンベアにお迎えすることをとても嬉しく思います。

私たちは全ての子どもたちに深い愛情を注ぎ、安全で楽しい教育環境を提供し、彼らの輝かしい将来へ向けた真の国際人の育成を目指しています。

子どもたちに“学習”とは楽しくやりがいのあること、そして生涯にわたって継続するべきことだと教えたいと思っています。失敗から学び、成功と目標に近づく教訓として捉えさせること。物事の教育的側面だけでなく、多様性を受け入れ、他の価値観を尊重し思いやりのある心を育てたいと願っています。
